Special wine from the original Pecorino grape. This grape was almost extinct when a group in Italy that works for the preserving of typical Italian grapes found a pecorino plant in the 80s. This grape is alos called "Sheep grape" as the Italian sheep seemed to love this one. The Italian word for sheep is "Pecora". Medium acids, long aftertaste and a nose with Jam, dried apricot, figs and honey. Beautiful deep orange color. Bottled unfiltered so not very clear. Winemaker quote:: 100% uva e basta ! ( 100% grapes and thats it ! )
